About our school
Located just a 5-minute walk from Akasaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line, Akasaka International School is an English-language school welcoming children from 1 year and 4 months of age. We provide a high-quality education based on Western curricula while respecting and nurturing each child’s unique personality and potential.
With a child-first philosophy at the heart of everything we do, we offer a warm, family-like environment where children can develop not only English proficiency but also independence, creativity, confidence, and strong communication skills.
Our Preschool, Pre-Advanced, and Pre-Advanced Full Classes (for children aged 1 year and 4 months to 6 years) have been issued a Certificate of Compliance confirming that they meet the Standards for Guidance and Supervision of Unlicensed Childcare Facilities in Japan. These programs are also eligible under Japan’s Free Early Childhood Education and Care Program. Families who meet the eligibility requirements of their local municipality may qualify for tuition subsidies or reimbursement.
